Story

[p]On a beautiful day David was out cycling with his friend, laughing and chatting away, when he suffered a heart attack. Despite the help from passers by, paramedics and the air ambulance it was time for David to gain his angel wings. David passed away on Tuesday 18th September 2018, aged 52 years. [/p][p]David had an immense passion for golf, both playing and teaching. Over the years he has shared his love and knowledge of the game, inspiring many. [/p][p]He was a gentle kind soul, always there to offer support and advice to anyone who needed it. His smile and sense of humour will be deeply missed. [/p][p]David's contribution to the world lives on through his children Lauren and Tom, and through the lives of everyone he touched both personally and professionally. [/p][p]We have chosen the following charities in David's memory, for those who wish to contribute [/p][p]Thames Valley Air Ambulance for their efforts in helping David. [/p][p]Cardiac Risk in the Young (CRY) to screen and help young people who may be at risk of Heart Disease.[/p][p]As a family we would like to thank you for your support to us at this sad time and for any donations to the charities we have chosen. [/p][p]Catriona, Lauren and Tom x [/p][p][br][/p][p] [/p]

David taught me to play golf a few years ago. Lovely guy, great sense of humour and the patience of a saint tutoring me! Really saddened to hear the news, thoughts with friends and family x

We shared a love of golf and a love of Liverpool - both of which have their ups and downs! Whenever I'm experiencing the ups on either, I will be thinking of you.
