[p]Harry McSoley was a wonderful Dad, Grandad and Great Grandad and was deeply loved by us all. The Covid19 virus took him unexpectedly in Royal Berkshire Hospital on 30th March 2020 leaving us all heartbroken and devastated. The care he received whilst there, all alone in his dying hours, was second to none. The staff on SSU were caring, gentle and brave. In particular, Dr Dan Mort took time out regularly to go and pray with Harry as he slowly slipped away. Harry's daughter is also in RBH with Covid 19 and again the staff have been brilliant supporting her back to health. Harry's son is terminally ill with cancer and even in these difficult days The Royal Marsden is continuing to treat him. The staff put their lives on the line to administer his chemo and perform all his tests. It was Harry's wish that any money donated in his memory should be shared among these two deserving charities. The family thanks each and everyone of you for the outpouring of love and support we have received at this difficult time.[/p]
