Story

[p]Ian Passfield was a client of Penn Chambers Solicitors. He was well liked by the team that dealt with his legal affairs. He became my friend, even though I was his Principal Solicitor, with his witty, sensible, and pragmatic approach to solving problems.[/p][p]Ian however, had cancer.[/p][p]He was managing that cancer without any complaint or fuss or drama. He always had a smile and something funny to say. Those that did not know him would not have known that he did have cancer - I would have doubted him myself had I not seen the paperwork ![/p][p]Sadly, just when we thought that he had the damned cancer under some control, things took a turn for the worse so quickly that it caught us all by surprise. We can only start to imagine how devastating that must have been for his family, his friends and his loved ones. [/p][p]We were shocked to hear of his rapid descent and ultimate loss against the great fight.[/p][p]We run in his honour and his memory.[/p][p]His family gave us authority to mention his name and run in his honour and wanted us to run in aid of Keech Hospice that they say were superb in providing him with his end of life care in a space that his loved ones and family could focus on Ian and they themselves could also come to terms with the inevitable.[/p][p]Rest now, friend.[/p][p]Shak and the team and Penn Chambers.[/p][p][br][/p]
