Story

[p]Knight Frank Investment Management (KFIM) Charity Fundraise[/p][p]KFIM is proud to sponsor Sense and Chesil Sailing Trust.[/p][p]To raise money for these great causes, the KFIM office will be taking part in a mammoth 160 mile run and cycle relay, that will take us from London to Weymouth. Starting on the 13th June, and travelling through the night, we will arrive the next day having covered this distance within 24 hours.[/p][p]The cyclists will be covering 145 miles through the night, handing over the baton to the runners in Dorset, who will be undertaking a hilly half marathon to the finish line. So please dig deep! [/p][p]KFIM would be grateful for all donations made to these great charities. The team are training hard, keep checking this website for further updates on how we are getting on![/p][p]For further information on these charities please see below:[/p][p][/p][p]Sense is a charity that provides care for everyone living with complex disabilities. For everyone who is deafblind, Sense is there to offer personalised support to help people communicate and experience the world. They believe that no one, no matter how complex their disabilities, should be isolated, left out, or unable to fulfil their potential. Their experts offer support that’s tailored to the individual needs of each person, providing care at centres, through holidays and short breaks, or in people’s own homes. In addition to practical support, they also provide information to families, and campaign for the rights of people with complex disabilities to take part in a normal life.[/p][p]For further information, please visit the Sense website: https://www.sense.org.uk/[/p][p][/p][p][br][/p][p][/p][p]Chesil Sailing Trust (CST) is a Dorset based charity that enables young people to enjoy the thrills of sailing and watersports. Funded entirely by donations, CST provides grants for young, disadvantaged or disabled people to experience a new opportunity on the water.[/p][p]Working with a number of partners including Weymouth and Portland National Sailing Academy, Andrew Simpson Foundation, Andrew Simpson Sailing Centre, Boleh Trust, Trinity Sailing Trust, Official Test Centre and the Weymouth Outdoor Education Centre, the Chesil Sailing Trust is passionate about giving children the opportunity to try sailing at an affordable price and then encourages those who wish to continue in the sport to do so and develop their skills and talents.[/p][p]For further information, please visit the Chesil Sailing Trust website: http://chesiltrust.org.uk/[/p][p][/p][p][br][/p]
