[p]Hi Thank you so much for supporting my chosen chartites so far![/p][p]05.05.2017[/p][p] Today I have 1 year left of my treatment plan![/p][p]The last few months have been up and down with my treatment, whilst I haven't been really poorly I've struggled on my Steroids, often missing school, hobbies and going out with my friends.[/p][p]I am trying to keep fit but haven't been able to get back into football as yet but I'm hoping I will next season. Watching Leicester in the champions league this year has been great.[/p][p]Keep an eye out for our upcoming charity events and thanks again for your support.[/p][p]Ryans Swain age 12[/p][p] [/p][p]I am now 11 and Im 14 months into my Treatment for Non Hodgkin Lymphoma,I still have treatment everyday but I dont have to go to hospital as much any more. The steriods I have every month make me feel rubbish and I hate them but I know I have to take them to make me better.[/p][p]I have loved watching Leicester City this year, Ive been to watch as many matches as I can when I feel well enough! I am starting to be able to do more sport and played my first league match this season, we lost but it was great to be playing again.[/p][p]We are thinking of more ideas to raise money for my chosen cahrities again this year and appricate your on going support.[/p][p]Thanks Ryan Swain - March 2016[/p][p]My name is Ryan Swain, Im 10 years old. I live at home with my Mum, Dad and 2 brothers, Adam and Zack. [/p][p]On the 7th January 2015 I went to hospital when the doctor found a lump in my neck, they kept me in hospital and a few days later told me I had T cell Non Hodgkin Lymphoma a form of Cancer. When the doctor told me it made me feel sad and scared, my doctor told me they would have to give me lots of different medicines to make me better. I started my treatment straight away and Im in my 12th week of my 3 and a half Year plan, sometimes the chemo makes me feel poorly and I dont like taking my tablets or having my port accessed but I know I have to be brave so the doctors and nurses can make me better .[/p][p]I love football especially leicester city, I have a season ticket, I miss going every week but have managed to go a couple of times when Im feeling ok. I play football for Groby Juniors, I play upfront, I try to go and watch them whenever I feel well enough. The medication has made my legs weak and also made be feel tired so Im not able to train yet, I do manage to kick a football around with my dad and brothers. I try to go to school when Im not having treatment, its good to see my friends and have fun.[/p][p]I would like to raise some money for Clic Sargent as they arrange special days out for children that are poorly, they got me a ticket to watch Leicester city against Crystal Palace in an executive box.  I have also picked Childrens cancer and leukemia Group as it funds and supports reasearch into childrens cancers.  They also produce information for children and their families to help them understand their cancer.[/p]
