[p]Sharon passed away on 2nd Nov 2016. She died of a very rare form of cancer called Mucosal Melanoma.[/p][p]This is a cancer that lives in the warm mucous parts of the body, genitals, nose and oesophagus. Research into this cancer is not funded by the NHS. Sharon had radical surgery to remove tumours but it was unsuccessful she went on to have immune therapy but that also failed.[/p][p]We have set up a foundation with The Imperial College in London and are starting a young doctor on a 3 year PHD researching Mucosal Melanoma NOT FUNDED BY NHS. [/p][p]We believe this is the first, only and largest research into Mucosal Melanoma in the UK.[/p][p]It does not come cheap £88,000 for 3 years research.[/p][p]Please help us raise this money and if you have any way in helping please contact me 07831 429451[/p][p]Thank You[/p][p]Steve Dunster[/p]

I've been made aware of your campaign by my Aunt and Uncle (Margaret and Peter Simpson). We were lucky to celebrate her 70th birthday last night. I wish you all the best with your fundraising.
