[p][/p][p][span=color: #000080]Hi Im Stephens mum Jane.[/span][/p][p][span=color: #000080]In January 2013, following the news that his cancer was incurable, Stephen created his now infamous Bucket List of 46 activities hed like to do in the time he had left.[/span][/p][p][span=color: #000080][lt]br /[gt][/span][/p][p][span=color: #000080]No.1 on his Bucket List was to raise &pound10,000 for Teenage Cancer Trust - the charity which had helped Stephen during his four-years of cancer treatment.[/span][/p][p][span=color: #000080][lt]br /[gt][/span][/p][p][span=color: #000080]In April 2014 I made a promise to Stephen, while he and I watched his best friend complete the London Marathon, that I would one day complete a marathon myself for Stephen.[/span][/p][p][span=color: #000080][lt]br /[gt][/span][/p][p][span=color: #000080]That I achieved in April this year when I completed the Virgin Money London Marathon - my first marathon in just over six hours.[/span][/p][p][span=color: #000080][lt]br /[gt][lt]br /[gt]Although the mararthon was never intended as a major fundraising event, the generosity of the public help me raise &pound22,500 for Teenage Cancer Trust.&nbsp[/span][/p][p][span=color: #000080][lt]br /[gt][lt]br /[gt]At the end of May I started and participated in the Great Midlands Fun Run in Royal Sutton Coldfield, 8 miles north of Birmingham.[/span][/p][p][span=color: #000080][lt]br /[gt][/span][/p][p][span=color: #000080]Stephen had intended to participate himself in 2014 by being pushed around the 8.5 mile course by a team of nurses from St Giles Hospice, who had also helped during his cancer treatment. Sadly Stephen passed away just three weeks before the event.&nbsp[/span][/p][p][span=color: #000080][lt]br /[gt][/span][/p][p][span=color: #000080]I was proud to wear what would have been Stephens official entry number 4097 this year and thanks to the organisers for inviting me to officially start the event and to witness a wonderful Thumbs-Up moment by the 7000 entrants shortly before the start.[/span][/p][p][span=color: #000080][lt]br /[gt][/span][/p][p][span=color: #000080]No.2 on Stephens Bucket List was to skydive. It was wonderful to see Stephen jump twice before he passed away and he had already started to recruit people for this world record attempt before his death in May 2014.[/span][/p][p][span=color: #000080][lt]br /[gt][/span][/p][p][span=color: #000080]So to fulfil Stephens dream of not only breaking the world skydive record but to get Stephens name published in the Guinnes Book of World Record, my next challenge on Friday 10th July, which I will share with my mum, Stephens older brother Chrsitopher and 417 others will be an attempt to break the Guinness World Record for the most people to tandem skydive in one day.[/span][/p][p][span=color: #000080][lt]br /[gt][/span][/p][p][span=color: #000080]If you would like to contribute towards our continuing fundraising for Teenage Cancer Trust, you can visit our SkydiveForStephen online fundraising page via this link: [/span][/p][lt]p style="line-height: 150%"[gt][span=font-size: 9pt line-height][url=http://uk.virginmoneygiving.com/team/SkydiveForStephen][lt]span style="color: #000080"[gt]http://uk.virginmoneygiving.com/team/SkydiveForStephen[/span][/url][lt]/span[gt][/p][p][lt]br /[gt]Jane x[/p][p][lt]img src="https://lh6.googleusercontent.com/-QWAHK9fhw7k/VMu9heNJkOI/AAAAAAAABDY/PnT3EGN1pr0/s640/balloons.jpg" alt="" width="480" height="640" /[gt][/p]
