Story

[div=text-align: center;][b][span=text-decoration: underline;][lt]span style="font-size: large;"[gt]NOAH's STORY[/span][lt]/span[gt][/b][/div][div=text-align: left;]Our beautiful baby boy Noah passed away at just 6 weeks of age.[/div][div=text-align: left;]We managed to be close to him and look after him as much as was possible whilst in specialist care at the NEONATAL UNIT at JAMES COOK HOSPITAL, we never left his side and neither did his carers. We needed the help of a dedicated team of Doctors and Nurses to work around the clock to care for Noah and work with us as parents to be able to help him for ourselves over the 6 weeks he was with us.[/div][div=text-align: left;]Noah was able to feel so loved not only by his close family but by the staff who were on hand every second that he was alive. noah wouldn't have been givena  chance to feel this if the staff weren't tireless and go above and beyond with everything that they did. They were there to support us as parents in the worst time of our lives andwe need to show our appreciation for them.[/div][div=text-align: left;]The Neonatal Unit was a place we never really knew existed at james Cook but struggle to imagine how any hospital could evert exist without one. The work they do can never be appreciated enough but every penny we can raise in support can be the very least we can hope to ofefr them. We want to remember Noah's time with us as an amazingly lucky 6 weeks, we want to feel that we were given that time with him to show him how much we loved him and were glad that he was able to feel it. It was with their help that this was possible and we can never thank them enough.[/div][div=text-align: left;]This is our second year of fundraising, last year raising neally £7,500. We want to top that this year and as well as accepting continuous donations we'll be doing events through out the year leading up to a summer family fundraising day in July. From the money raised last year we've managed to pay for a Twin incubator cot that help the Neonatal team care for premarture babies in need of specialist care. We want to be able to offer more this year and theres always something the unit is in need of. And all of the money raised will go specifically to the Neonatal Unit at South Teess Hospital.[/div][div=text-align: left;]As we did last year there will be a ROSEBERRY TOPPING walk in animal onesies in June and a big family fun day in July with lots and lots and lots of prizes, games, food and entertainment.[/div][div=text-align: left;]If you can give anything at all, the Neonatal team and future families in need of specialist care will appreciated any help. It's amazed us how much the Neonatal Unit gets used by so many families and has happy stories of babies going home with their parents. Whilst we werent so lucky we know the more help we can offer by fundrainsing, the more chance there is for future happy stories of families leaving hospital. So dig deep if you can.[/div]
