Your support is making a difference
NHS Charities Together and its members across the UK are hugely grateful for the support received from so many since the onset of the Covid-19 pandemic.
NHS Charities Together is the national charity caring for the NHS. We are made up of 241 NHS charity members based within hospitals, mental health trusts, ambulance trusts, community health trusts and health boards across the UK.
The NHS is currently facing the most challenging period in its history and funds raised by NHS Charities Together enable the health service to go above and beyond what would otherwise be possible. Through its member charities, NHS Charities Together funds projects to improve services for patients as well as providing emotional and practical support for NHS staff plus volunteers so that they
can continue with their vital work.
Thank you for supporting NHS charities, thank you for caring for the NHS.

New equipment for dementia patients
Funding from our appeal has enabled an NHS charity to focus on the needs of dementia patients adversely affected by Covid-19. For these patients, a stay in hospital can be incredibly lonely and anxiety-inducing.

Trauma training to build resilience
NHS workers are receiving additional support for trauma experienced during the pandemic, thanks to your donations. The funding means more staff in need of someone to talk to about their experiences can access a support network.

Making a difference for the NHS
Thanks to your generosity, the impact of our appeal is big and we’d like to say an even bigger thank you to every one of our supporters who are helping us to make a difference. Our work continues.

Providing parents of poorly children with accommodation
Thanks to your donations, one NHS charity is paying for parents with children in hospital to stay in hotels to save them long journeys home while their child receives specialist treatment.

Looking after the wellbeing of NHS staff and volunteers
With donations to the appeal, thousands of wellbeing packs containing essential toiletries and snacks have been issued to NHS staff in hospital and community services.

Keeping outpatients connected with mental health services
Your generosity has meant one hospital charity is providing patients with mobile phones, so they can access mental health services while in the community and receive continuous support.
