New reporting features coming this Summer

Get your data quicker, simpler and easier

Reports and a laptop

Our team have been busy behind the scenes developing our Reporting tool to help you get better insights to your data. From the feedback we’ve had from charities and the latest prototype testing, we’ll be releasing new features over this summer, ready for when we discontinue our legacy Reporting tool in October.

One of the main and most requested new features will be a new version of the Statement Summary being added to the Payment reports. The last 30 days of your weekly payments will automatically display (with the option to change) allowing you to quickly and easily reconcile your bank statements.

Here’s a few of the features we’re working on.

Payment Summary

This will replace the Statement Summary in old Reporting. Get payment data on a variety of date ranges, and save or print the report you need.

Events Report

This will replace the current report in old Reporting. Get data on events such as total donations, total Gift Aid and number of pages created, and save or print the report you need.

Campaigns Report

This will replace the current report in old Reporting. Easily get details on your charity campaigns such as total amount and volume of direct donations, linked fundraising page numbers and totals raised.

Report results sorting

The reports will have a new selection of sorting options including: page created date, event date, expiry date, date of first fundraising activity, date of last fundraising activity, total raised amount. We’ll also be adding secondary sorting options to let you sort by date/time value or page ID.

Report results filtering

The fundraising pages report will be updated so you can filter by: custom code value, event and page status. The donations report will be updated so you can filter by donation types including: direct, fundraising page, and campaign. The payments report will be updated so you can filter by donation types including: regular donations, fundraising pages, and direct.

Templating

We’ll be improving the look and feel of our template tool making it easier to create your own versions of reports. Also as requested by some of you, we’ve built in the ability to add blank columns to templates, helping you get the layout you need to match your own databases.
