Setting up your events is easy

From glamourous charity balls to gruelling obstacle courses, events are the perfect way for people to support your work.

Colour run

This guide will share tips and talk you through the setup so you can make the most of your online fundraising.

There are four situations where an event should be used:

First up

If you're responsible for running the event, you can set up your own. If you're looking for an event that isn't yours (e.g. Virgin Money London Marathon), search via the 'Joining an existing event' tab. We've done the legwork for you by listing the UK's largest.

Fill in the blanks

We’ve created a four-step template - just fill in the details of what’s taking place and when. We’ll then create an event page for you to share with your fundraisers.

Get the word out there

You’ve laid the groundwork, now let’s make sure everyone knows about the event.

Search for yours on the Virgin Money Giving homepage and take the URL from there. Or lift the event ID from your account and create a deeplink.

Don’t know where to start? Read our guide on how to use the deeplink generator.
