If you already have a place in the 2020 Virgin Money London Marathon, start fundraising with Virgin Money Giving today and you could be in with a chance to win a place for a friend. Terms apply.

What better way to start your marathon journey than to do it alongside a friend or family member. All you have to do to be in with a chance of winning this amazing prize is create a fundraising page and receive £100 or more of online donations on Virgin Money Giving by 30 November 2019.

If you're already fundraising with Virgin Money Giving and have already raised over £100, there's nothing else you need to do - you will have automatically been entered into this competition.

Please don’t enter unless you already have a place for yourself in the 2020 Virgin Money London Marathon. This prize draw only helps you get a place for a friend, you can’t win one for yourself.

Terms and conditions

  1. Entry to the Run with a Friend prize draw (‘Prize Draw’) is open to all entrants who create or have created a fundraising page on the Virgin Money Giving website (‘Website’) for the 2020 Virgin Money London Marathon (‘Marathon’).
  2. All entrants must have their own place to run in the 2020 Virgin Money London Marathon and have set up a Virgin Money Giving fundraising page attached to the official ‘2020 Virgin Money London Marathon’ event.
  3. To be eligible to win the prize, valid entrants need to have received at least £100 (one hundred pounds) in online donations on their fundraising page for the 2020 Virgin Money London Marathon before the closing date.
  4. Only one entry per registered customer.
  5. The Prize Draw is open from 00:01 hours on 11 October 2019 and closes on 30 November 2019 at 23:59.
  6. All valid entries received within the entry period will be entered into a prize draw and 5 winning entries will be drawn independently and at random.
  7. If any of the winning entries is a team, the prize will be awarded to the owner of the page on the Website only.
  8. The winners of the prize draw will receive one Virgin Money London Marathon 2020 place for a friend. Winners cannot claim the prize for themselves. The place cannot be deferred to future years
  9. The prize is subject to terms and conditions and no cash alternative will be offered.
  10. The winning entries’ runner friends must also adhere to the terms of the Virgin Money London Marathon:
  11. The winners agree to allow the Promoter to confirm their name, age and county of residence to other entrants.
  12. The winners’ names will be available upon request by sending a stamped addressed envelope to: Virgin Money Giving ‘Run with a Friend’ Prize Draw, Discovery House, Whiting Road, Norwich, NR4 6EJ.
  13. Personal information provided by entrants will be used to administer the Prize Draw.
  14. The winners may be asked but are not under an obligation to participate in non-paid publicity.
  15. The Promoter reserves the right to modify, terminate, suspend or extend the Competition at any time without prior notice.
