Highlights of Day Two at the Virgin Money London Marathon Running Show
Here are a few of the top moments from day two

Day two of the Virgin Money London Marathon Running Show has drawn to a close with so many more amazing things to see and do.
Here are a few highlights from the day.

We were delighted to visit every single charity stand at the Virgin Money London Marathon Running Show today. Whether you’re a runner, a supporter or a visitor you can’t fail to be inspired by what they have to offer. You can see all the charities we met here.

The 2017 Virgin Money London Marathon was the mental health marathon, championed by the official charity Heads Together. Rhian Mannings was part of Team Heads Together who starred in a BBC documentary detailing their journey. She’s back again this year running for her own charity, 2 Wish Upon A Star.

Monday of this week was the 26th anniversary of the murder of Stephen Lawrence when he was just 18 years old. Mile 18 of the London Marathon course will this year feature a tribute to Stephen called “Because Of Stephen We Can” and is currently featured at the Running Show.

And finally, we were joined on the Main Stage by the fastest marathon runner in the world – Eliud Kipchoge. Eliud ran the London Marathon in 2 hours and 3 minutes last year, we do not recommend trying that on Sunday. It’s always a pleasure listening to this man speak – always humble despite being a real life superhero.
And of course what makes every day at the Running Show special is people like YOU! We are all here to celebrate you and say #ThanksaBillion and we can't wait to see more of you tomorrow.
