Jo’s story: how I raised £21,000 for NE Youth in lockdown

Jo Shallcross shares how she followed in her Dad’s footsteps, and raised £21,000 for NE Youth in lockdown.

We love creating magical moments for our amazing fundraisers.

Meet the legendary Jo Shallcross! She was our top fundraiser in the North East since March, raising an incredible £21,000 during lockdown for NE Youth. They’re one of the North East’s leading youth development charity’s supporting young people in the region.

Jo did 40 miles in 40 days in memory of her Dad, who sadly died of Coronavirus.

To say thank you, we gave her and her family VIP tickets to see Craig Charles at the Virgin Money Unity Arena. It’s the first of its kind socially distanced music venue, thanks to our friends at Virgin Money.
