Where to get help with fundraising
Handy resources to help out with your fundraising efforts.
Fundraising can be a rollercoaster - we understand just how much of an emotional journey it can be, whether you're fundraising for a burning cause in your heart or raising money in memory of someone special, fundraising can be not only physically draining, but mentally draining also. Here are some useful resources to help you along the way.
The charity you are fundraising for
Charities will do everything they can to help their fundraisers on their journey. If you’re struggling to get donations, finding it hard to stay motivated or need some inspiration with fundraising ideas, you can usually contact your chosen charity by phone, email or social media with all of your questions. Charities are really good at sending motivating emails and making good luck phone calls before big events – you’re doing this for them, so it’s important for them to be there for you.
Many charities run special programmes of support and advice for supporters running the Virgin Money London Marathon. The charity can put you in touch with other supporters preparing for the big day so that you can exchange training and fundraising tips.
